The Heart of CCA
Dear Parent,
Thank you for your interest in Calvary Christian Academy, a Pre-K through 12th-grade school committed to graduating students that love Jesus, love others, and love learning. CCA is more than just a school with Christian teachers and a Bible-infused curriculum; we are a community of educators dedicated to discipling, teaching, and training our students in excellence and in truth. The atmosphere within the halls and classrooms of CCA is familial in nature. Students learn best if they feel loved, cared for, safe, and seen, and CCA’s faculty and staff strive daily to elicit these feelings from our students.
As a church school, CCA had the unique opportunity to have pastors teaching Bible classes to our 5th through 12th-grade students. Our pastors are on the premises each day and provide a covering for our students, teachers, and parents. CCA is a praying school. We are prayed for by our pastors, our church congregation, and by our faculty and staff. We begin each day in prayer, praying specifically for our students’ hearts, minds, families, friendships, and futures.
It is our collective hearts’ desire to do all we can to support our students’ life goals by providing strong academic programs that incorporate 21st-century skills and technologies. Beyond that, we purposefully infuse each lesson with a clear understanding of God’s design within this world and for His people. At CCA, discipleship and learning extend beyond the classroom. Our extracurricular activities provide opportunities for students to develop their God-given gifts and talents through athletics, after-school clubs, and through specialized teams and learning communities.
Our faculty and staff view CCA as their mission field and therefore plan all activities, from the academic, to the sacred, and to the social – to allow our students opportunities to encounter God and to walk with Him. A biblical worldview is a part of the fabric of our school woven into each classroom lesson, administrative meeting, and decision. Through prayer, we welcome God into our school each day.
Today, we welcome you to learn more about our school, our community and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please reach out to us through phone or email if you have any questions about CCA or if you would like to schedule a tour.
God bless,
