Jr./Sr. High School Culinary Arts (7th through 12th grade):

God created food to energize our bodies and delight our palates. CCA’s culinary classes are experiential and designed to develop our students’ senses as they create delectable entrees and desserts. The fundamentals of cooking, baking, safety, and hygiene are emphasized within the culinary courses. Calculation measurements, developing dexterity with kitchen knives, and utilizing proper cooking and baking terminology are important aspects of culinary education. Students are given opportunities to showcase their ability to create a recipe and display it through themed projects throughout the school year. Culinary courses leave our students with a finer appreciation of the variety of foods that God has created for us to enjoy as well as the ability to work safely and be at ease in the kitchen environment.
