World History/Geography I Honors

The Honors course will cover the same time period as the regular 9th grade World History & Geography I course. Students will be challenged to evaluate and defend their opinions relating to past historical events. Critical thinking skills, more in-depth study, and additional reading and writing are distinctive of the Honors course.

Prerequisite: 93% in 8th grade history or 90% in Accelerated 8th grade history. Teacher recommendation required.
