Weight Training 9-12 Girls

This course if for students interested in starting a discipline that will benefit them for life. Students will learn that building muscle is not just for power lifters and body builders. Students will learn how to create their own program and how to chart their progress. Students will learn how to strengthen, tone, and sculpt their muscles using free weights, weight machines, elastic bands, and their own body weight. Students will learn to take control of their physical health by combining weight training with a proper, healthy diet. Students will learn that God is honored, when their bodies are fit to be used for His glory. Students will be given the tools to help them maintain a healthy habit for a lifetime. Students will be given quizzes and projects.
