Art III

This class is designed for advanced students who are interested in continuing their development in art as a career. Emphasis is placed on college exploration and admission. Students will focus on refining their existing portfolio and developing independent projects with self-expression. Selection and research of a major area of study is encouraged. The student is expected to develop proficiency in analytical thinking, portfolio presentation and the ability to discuss artwork in an articulate manner. Students enrolled in Art III must also be enrolled in a 1-day a week (1st pd.) Art Lab. During Art Lab, Art III students will work on the completion of their Art Portfolio.

Prerequisite: Art 2 with a grade of “90”or better.
