Calculus

In this course students will have the opportunity to solidify their understanding of mathematical concepts they have previously learned and then be introduced to calculus topics. Calculus topics will include limits, continuity, rates of change, derivatives, extrema, concavity, optimization, related rates, and definite and indefinite integrals. A TI 84 Plus is required for the duration of the course, as concepts will be explored both graphically and analytically. Students will construct their own graphs throughout the course to enhance and confirm their acquired Calculus skills.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Honors Pre-Calculus or a grade of 80% or above in Pre-Calculus. Teacher recommendation required.
