We are so thankful for the amazing opportunity to have been a part of CCA these past two years. As a military family, we are grateful beyond words for a place that made us all feel accepted and known. To be known is a deep need inside each one of us…to feel a sense of community….to know that someone sees you among the others and cares for you. This is how my children feel when they attend school at Calvary. You know their names…you talk to them…you praise them for a job well done…you encourage and bless them each and every day. I cannot thank you enough for this treasure of being known.
In addition to feeling at “home” at school, our children have greatly benefited from the extras the school has to offer. It is rare to have a Christian school with such a wide variety of classes and extracurricular activities to enjoy. They enjoyed the clubs, the sports, the enrichment classes, the specials, Reading Olympics, the field trips and many other fun things that made going to school a joy!
CCA was a breath of fresh air when we truly needed to breathe. Thank you for your smiles every day. Thank you for working so hard to provide up to date information for parents on anything from fields trips to snow days. We are so impressed by the incredible communication that you provide.
Finally, we pray God’s continued blessing upon this school and the wonderful people that pray and work and lead and give each day. We pray that you are encouraged today that you have given a beautiful gift to our family. Upon leaving, we trust the Lord’s leading for our family and know this is the road He has brought us to, but it is hard. So, thank you for making the leaving harder because it means the staying was so very wonderful.
With grateful hearts,
Former CCA Parent
“I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how impressed I was with the Junior High girls’ basketball team when they visited my daughter’s school on Tuesday. I watched the game, which they won with grace- and then I worked our snack stand for an hour afterwards, during which time I was able to talk to quite a few of the players. They were pleasant, polite, and great examples of an education that goes beyond just being talented and well coached.”
“I sent our daughter to CCA for its spiritual values, but the academic quality is undeniable: She took four AP exams; earned a “5” on each, and now has 21 college credits before starting classes.”
“Hey Mr. Roche, Today I was sitting in my GNED class at Liberty University and my professor pulls up a PowerPoint. Big and bold on this PowerPoint were the words: “What is your world view?”. I automatically broke out into laughter seeing as though we spend most of last year speaking on that and the people around me were clueless. So here’s one of those corny emails thanking for again for all you did and all you taught me. It really helps when I’m here in college, writing a three page paper on the definition of a world view, my world view, and the importance of having a world view. So definitely remind your students this year to listen up, I’m way head of everyone in my class just because of your class.”

“It has been a long time since I have been so impressed by a group of young people. The excitement level was infectious. The kids were so polite, well behaved, curious, attentive and responsive. The entire staff raved about their good behavior, great attitudes and willingness to learn!”
“I just wanted to share a blessing about Jordan…just in case anyone ever questions the education of CCA. Jordan graduates from Rider University on 5/15 with a degree in Business Management and Leadership. He also played and traveled with the Club baseball team to different states. He received 2 awards at banquets this week. He received the Male Club Athletic Scholar award for the highest GPA ( 3.8) of all club sports. He also received an award for the highest GPA in his Business department. We are very blessed and proud of his continued work ethic. God has provided him with a great job in a very depressed market…we are very thankful. Thank you for the education CCA provided to him!!!”
“Gretchen will be a junior next year at Calvary and she has no less than 75-80 emails on our computer from colleges and universities seeking her enrollment.”
“We have a few friends who had kids at Calvary and sent them to a public school. They said their kids were ahead of the public school in almost every subject.”
“We are thrilled with just about every aspect of Calvary Christian Academy. In fact, I can’t think of anything about which we are concerned. CCA is an answer to prayer, and the teachers are such a blessing.”
“For the past six years, not only were my sons academic needs met but we feel as though this was accomplished while incorporating a solid relationship with the Lord.”
“I don’t know it you were there when my daughter graduated from Calvary, but she just graduated magna cum laude from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL (just outside Chicago) this past May in the premed program with a biology major. She is starting the ACE fast track nursing program at Drexel in the middle of September. This is a one-year program that earns an RN. Bonnie and I thank the Lord for the ministry of Calvary and the wonderful impact it has had on Jenny.”
A Letter From a Graduate’s Parent to CCA
For the past two years I have wanted to write to you regarding the Praise Dance Program and finally I can’t hold back any longer. I am so grateful that CCA offers this amazing program. It is truly a gift for me and my family and I know for countless others. I know my step daughter would love to take Praise Dance if it was offered where she lives or if she lived with us. And, that is just the point. It isn’t offered many places. It is rare. It is priceless. It is needed. It is vital. I am so very, very grateful to have this program available. I can’t thank you enough.
